I started smoking at the age 9 because I thought it made me look cool. As the years went by I became more dependent on smoking. The first thing I would do in the morning was smoke a cigarette and the last thing I would do before I went to bed is smoke a cigarette. Im 20 now and Im just starting to relize the effects that the cigarettes have done to me. I cant do a lot of the things I would like to do like go jogging and hiking. On May 1 2008 I told myself that I could do it. I made a call and sure enough I have truely done it. I have not had a cigarette in 5 days and I feel wonderful. I will never touch another cigarette ever again...
